Tunella was born where the cold and rigid winds of the Julian Alps meet the mild winds of the Adriatic Sea, which give rise to a contamination unique in Italy and beyond.
The phrase "authentic hill art", which accompanies the logo of the winery, perfectly describes the result of this integration: a territory that is the exact middle ground between the mountainous and flat morphology.
In turn, the production is faithful to the vocation of the territory, with 70% white grapes (which give life to white wines of great elegance, structure and longevity) and 30% red grapes, embracing both native varieties such as Ribolla Gialla, Verduzzo Friulano, Malvasia Istriana, Refosco and Schioppettino and international ones such as Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Pinot Nero and Merlot.
Tunella is also at the forefront of an eco-sustainable agricultural and production policy, which limits treatments in the vineyard to a minimum and uses clean energy from photovoltaic panels for activities in the cellar.
