The name DeAetna, inspired by the title of a Latin pamphlet dated 1550, expresses the sacredness of the enological universe.
Latin booklet dated back to 1550, expresses the sacredness of the enological universe. Written in the form of a dialogue, the text tells about the ascent to the top of the volcano by a Venetian writer, Pietro Bembo, while returning from his stay in Messina at Costantino Lascaris'. The description and the study of Etna and of its activity attribute to DeAetna classicism and historical mysticism, attesting Etna's wine as the most intellectual moment of the meeting at table.

The must is obtained by direct pressing. After a cold static clarification the must is fermented at a controlled temperature of 14°-16°C.
Aging: In steel for a few months and then in bottle.
