Deep ruby red in color with garnet reflections. Complex in perfumes, it immediately shows decisive characters, in which vegetal notes and aromas are recognized, referring to dark plum jam, currant syrup and tamarind; aside a subtle but clear spicy perception of pepper and an evident finish of wood and liquorice. In the mouth it immediately reveals its structural dimension with an expressive, pleasant and well tanned tannin that is decisively and importantly imposed on the soft notes, full-bodied and rich in flavor.

Pairings: First courses with game ragout, egg pasta ravioli filled with meat, semi-cured cheeses, slices of veal, roasts, boiled meats and game.
