Fermentation
In stainless steel tanks under vacuum and in temperature controlled conditions, followed immediately by distillation in order to avoid harmful secondary fermentations.
Artisanal Distillation
Batch method according to our ancient family tradition in special artisanal batch steam stills, renovated by Benito Nonino. The distillation happens very slowly to allow the volatile components, responsible for the perfumes, a proper evaporation period and subsequent condensation, in order to keep intact the precious organoleptic characteristics of the chosen fruit varieties.
Production
Limited and strictly dependent on the individual year’s harvest.
Rest
From six months to a year in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting
It should be served at 12°C or in an ice glass with an open tulip shape. Before tasting Frut, the distillate should be allowed to rest in the glass for some minutes: on exposure to oxygen, the perfumes are enhanced and the nose/palate harmony is perfected.
When to drink it
Drunk or sipped at the end of a meal or at any moment of the day, it’s a source of real pleasure! It is excellent in a ice cream or in a sorbet.
