Marka: Nonino
It is obtained by the harmonious union of grape distillates made from Monovitigno® indigenous Friulian grape varieties such as Ribolla, Moscato and Malvasia.
Fresh, fragrant, pure and lightly aromatic with a particular elegance which is inherent in the grapes from which it comes.
FEATURES
Primary product
A selection of recently harvested red grapes, of single vines Ribolla, Moscato and Malvasia, picked at the correct ripeness level in order to preserve the perfume and flavours of the original vine varieties.
Fermentation
In stainless steel tanks under vacuum and in a controlled temperature environment. This is followed immediately by distillation in order to avoid harmful secondary fermentations.
Artisanal Distillation
Batch method according to our ancient family tradition in special artisanal batch steam stills created by Benito Nonino. The distillation happens very slowly to allow the volatile components, responsible for the perfumes, a proper evaporation period and subsequent condensation, in order to keep intact the precious organoleptic characteristics of the chosen vine varieties.
Production
Limited and strictly dependent on the individual year’s harvest.
Maturation
From six months to a year in stainless steel tanks.
Alcohol content
38% vol
Optimum temperature
It should be served at 12°C in a glass with an open tulip shape.
Tasting
Before tasting, ÙE® Uvabianca® should be allowed to rest in the glass for some minutes: on exposure to oxygen, the perfumes are enhanced and the nose/palate harmony is perfected.
When and how to drink ÙE® Uvabianca®
Drunk, sipped or lingered over at the end of a meal or at any moment of the day it is a source of real pleasure! ÙE® Uvabianca® can be added to enhance all cream cakes, cream in general (both crème anglaise and whipped cream) and ice-cream. It is excellent on a fresh fruit salad or in a sorbet.
We also suggest a cocktail based on ÙE®, “Asso” Cocktail invented by the bartender Antonio from the Bar “De la Poste” Cortina d’Ampezzo: 5/10 Grapefruit juice, 3/10 ÙE® Uvabianca®, 1/10 raspberry purée (without seeds), 1/10 gomme syrup, one cocktail shaker.
