Odem wine is an organic chardonnay, produced in Israel by the Yarden winery, with grapes grown in the Golan Heights. This is a mountainous region located on the Israeli border with Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. This land has ideal characteristics for the cultivation of the vine, with its basaltic soils of volcanic origin, topography with gentle slopes and the altitude of the vineyards (1200 m) that guarantees a cool and mitigated climate, compared to the torrid areas that surround the desert. Odem is the name of the city that rises on the mountain of the same name, which in turn is surrounded by a beautiful forest that also takes the name of Odem, a word that means "ruby" like the color of the rock of the ancient volcano. . . Odem Chardonnay is an elegant wine that easily seduces us, as well as the landscapes in which the grapes grow.
